Overview |
I. Overview
The Psionicist is primarily a damage dealer with a secondary role of crowd control. The Pscionicist also offers many utlity abilities to its group such as regeneration buffs, counter spelling, the ability to read the enemy’s mind and group invisibility.

III. Weapon Type/Armor
Psionicists are limited to light armor and can use daggers and two-handed staffs.

IV. Concentrations
Psionicists can choose to be in one concentration at any given time. Each concentration has a specific focus. An active concentration drains small amounts of endurance.

Astral Form - When this concentration is active, your physical body partially shifts to the astral plane, allowing you to absorb some of the damage directed toward you.

Phrenic Rage - Spells do more damage but cost more power.

Thought Thief - Direct damage spells will drain mental energy from your enemies rather than do physical damage. Endurance healing will now heal group members’ energy.

Cerebral Bastion I - This concentration will give the Psionicist a high resistance to mind altering effects such as fear, mezz, sleep, charm and confusion.

V. Crowd Control
The Psionicist excels at crowd control, and has a number of crowd control abilities. She has a spell that takes her enemy into a different time slice. Once the enemy returns it is snared for a period of time. The Psionicist's use of crowd control spells increases the mob's hate toward her. Each subsequent mez is less effective.

Psionicists also receive clone spells which produce a duplicate of the target, which attacks the enemy but causes no damage. The clone distracts the mob while the Psionicist's group fights other enemies.

VI. Damage
While the Psionicist excels at crowd controls and has many useful utility spells, his main role is that of a damage dealer. The Phrenic Range concentration serves to increase damage output.
虽然心灵术士拥有众多的群体控制和有益魔法，但其主要定位还是伤害制造者。其中一种状态能加大伤害输出。
VII. Mindspy
Psionicists will be able to read enemy minds and determine information on how to pull, how many enemies will attack and possibly more information such as level, armor class and hit points.
心灵术士可以了解敌人的特征以决定怎样pull，多少敌人会攻击，甚至可能得到敌人等级，盔甲等级和HP的信息。
VIII. Counterspells
Pscioncists like other arcane damage classes will have counterspells that will be able to nullify enemy caster spells. The counterspell could either completely nullify the spell or change the enemy spell into something beneficial to her group. For example her counter spell may turn a damage spell into energy or health for himself or her group.
和其他神秘伤害制造职业一样，心灵术士有抑制法术技能，可以使敌人的法术攻击无效化或者改为产生对自己团队有益的效果。比如可能把一个伤害法术变为增加自己或团队的mana或hp。
IX. Buffs
Psionicists are the best energy (mana) regeneration buffer class. They also have a group endurance buff. Pscioncists have lots of other buffs including the ability to buff party members’ combat awareness, damage absorption, attribute increases and more.
心灵术士是拥有最佳的mana恢复buff的职业。并且有一个团队耐力buff。心灵术士还有很多其他buff包括团队战斗awareness（根据beta体验应该是一个加移动速度，攻击速度，施法速度，减少施法间隔的buff），伤害吸收，属性增加等等。
X. Global Chat
Pscioncists can enter into a special global chat with other Psionicists when using a special union of thought ability. There is no planned global chat in Vanguard other than that for Psionicist’s.

XI. Illusions
Psionicist’s are masters of illusions and can transform their appearance into other races and even make them and their group become invisible.

XII. Advancement
Part of the Psionicist design used to be that to gain new skills and abilities they would not only have to visit their trainer but to find relics, called Gestalts, scattered across the world of Telon. It is unclear whether this is still part of Sigil’s plan for the Psionicist.

XIII. Known Spells and Abilities
Level 1
Mental Blast I - This power blasts your target's mind with raw mental power, dealing instant damage and temporarily reducing the damage that your target can deal with spells.

Level 2
Time Trick I - By shifting a single opponent into an alternate time stream, you stun it. Any attack partially brings this opponent back into normal time, breaking the stun effect, however your target's movement rate and damage are temporarily reduced. These effects remain for the power's duration. Subsequent attempts to time shift an opponent will be less effective.
打晕敌人，敌人被打晕期间受攻击则恢复。恢复后敌人移动速度和伤害能力下降。再次释放时效果会减弱。
Level 4
Simulacrum - This ability lets you create an illusionary copy of your target. This clone fiercely attacks your opponent, generating large amounts of hate, but dealing no real damage. Each time your opponent attacks the clone, your opponent has a chance to see through the illusion and dispel the clone.
制造克隆。克隆将吸引大量仇恨。不过目标的每次攻击都可能识破克隆从而使他消失。
Compression Sphere I - This power allows you to form a psionic sphere around your foe that will slowly collapse, crushing your enemy and causing damage over time.

Level 6
Mirage - This ability allows you to seal your target in an occluding field, rendering your target invisible to all but the keenest eye.

Critical Mass I - This spell compresses the brain of your target causing intense pain and leaving your enemy unable to focus on you in combat. This causes significant instant damage and reduces accuracy for a short time.

Acceleration - Increases your run speed for a short period of time.

Level 10
Nullifying Field - This power summons a dispersion field that nullifies the effects of an incoming spell or psychic ability. (Counterspell.)

Acumen I - This ability allows you to expand the minds of yourself and your allies, increasing intelligence and wisdom greatly. It also augments the replenishment of mana.

Level 12
Illusion: Dwarf - This power allows you to alter the perception of those around you, making yourself appear to be a dwarf.
变为矮人形态。
Mind Wipe - This power allows you to wipe the memory of your opponent, removed some of the anger towards you. Repeated mind wipes increase the amount of anger cleared. The memory wipe is much more powerful on a mind that has been shattered.
降低仇恨，可叠加。
Resurgence I - This power lets you use your impressive mental prowess to clear the mind of and reenergize your target restoring endurance.
提高目标耐力恢复速度。
Thought Surge - This power lets you violently expel all thought from your mind, causing a burst of psychic energy to hit all foes directly in front of you. The effort of manifesting this power takes a great toll on your body, causing damage to you with each cast.
区域攻击，同时对自身会造成伤害。
Union of Thought - This power allows you to fuse your thoughts with the other Psionicists in the world. This will allow for conversation between all players participating in the union. This link also grants increased energy regeneration.
和世界中其他心灵术士建立沟通频道。同时提升mana恢复速度。
